Donald Trump spoke at a “Save America” rally on Saturday in Conroe, Texas. He did not say whether he would actually run for President of the United States in the 2024 election. But he told his supporters: “If I run and win, we will treat the people who participated in the January 6 events fairly. If it means we have to pardon them, we will pardon them, because they are treated so unfairly.”, he said, reports the Washington Post.
So far, US authorities have arrested and charged more than 700 people in connection with the Capitol raid.
