If approved by Airlangga, Ijeck is set to be a candidate for governor in 2024 North Sumatra Pilkada

DPD Chairman I Golkar Party of North Sumatra (North Sumatra) Musa Rajekshah who is familiarly called Ijeck, spoke of his willingness to move forward Elections in North Sumatra in 2024. Ijeck said he is ready to become a candidate for governor (cagub) if proposed in the Rapimda Golkar North Sumatra, and approved by the Ketum Golkar.

“To date, I have not directly stated what the 2024 election will be, whether Pilkada will run for governor, because of what, because currently I am still deputy governor,” Ijeck said after the opening of the Rapimda of North Sumatra reported Golkar Party in Medan detikSumatraThursday (22/12/2022).

“But later we will hear the results of the Rapimda from the aspirations of our friends, in the district/city area. If this has become a decision of the party, and has also been approved by the DPP, the general chairman (Golkar), I will definitely be ready for that, to run in 2024,” continued Ijeck, who is also currently deputy governor of North Sumatra.

Meanwhile, Golkar Secretary General Lodewijk F Paulus explained Ijeck’s chances of being nominated by Golkar in the 2024 Pilkada. Lodewijk said Ijeck got the opportunity to be nominated by Golkar after seeing his resume as deputy governor of North Sumatra.

“Our party car is really good which means Pak Ijeck quality, track record, you have seen what Pak Ijeck has been doing for the past 4 years,” he said.

Lodewijk explained that voters in the North Sumatra Pilkada must be rational voters who look at their resume.
