- Those who work at the different educational levels of preschool, primary and secondary, will receive the Moderna vaccine
Oaxaca de Juárez, Oax. January 11, 2022.- The State Institute of Public Education of Oaxaca (IEEPO) began coordination actions with the corresponding federal and state agencies, for the application of a booster dose against COVID-19 to educational personnel in the entity, a process that will be carried out during the next January 12, 13 and 14.
Teachers, administrative and support staff of public and private educational institutions of basic education in the state that at the time received the biological Cansino, will be immunized with doses of the Moderna vaccine.
In this way, those who work at the different educational levels of preschool, primary and secondary, in their different modalities and without distinction of categories and functions, with the presentation of the vaccination certificate, proof of payment of the Educational Payroll Fund (FONE) or proof of income issued by the educational institution to which they belong, official INE identification and reinforcement format, they must go to receive the biological.
For this purpose, the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), in coordination with authorities of the State Government through the State Institute of Public Education of Oaxaca; the Secretaries of Health and National Defense; the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), and the State Delegation for Comprehensive Development Programs, established 19 regional vaccination centers in 17 municipalities.
From January 12 to 14 they will be installed in the city of Oaxaca in two venues: the Technological Institute of Oaxaca and the University Gymnasium of the UABJO; as well as in the Technological Institute of Tuxtepec and in Juchitán de Zaragoza in the facilities of the Technological Institute of the Isthmus.
On January 13 and 14, Huajuapan de León will be attended at the Benito Juárez High School; Huautla de Jiménez at the General Antonio Caso High School; Ciudad Ixtepec in the Technical Secondary School number 27; Juchitán de Zaragoza, in the municipal dome of Matías Romero; Miahuatlán by Porfirio Díaz at the Hermenegildo Galeana Primary School and the municipal auditorium of San Pedro and San Pablo Ayutla.
In Santiago Pinotepa Nacional at the vaccination center at the Technological Institute of Pinotepa; in San Pedro Pochutla at the Technological Institute of Pochutla; in San Pedro Mixtepec in the Sports Unit of Puerto Escondido; in Teotitlán de Flores Magón in the Sports Unit of this municipality and in the Heroic City of Tlaxiaco in the Technological Institute of Tlaxiaco.
On the same dates, January 13 and 14, the application of the reinforcement will also be carried out in the Presidente Lázaro Cárdenas Experimental Normal, in Putla Villa de Guerrero, the municipal roof of Ixtlán de Juárez and the Justo Sierra Elementary School, in Loma Bonita. As the only day, January 13, the reinforcements will be applied in the CBTA 131 of Santiago Juxtlahuaca.
Regarding the schedules, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the teaching staff of public schools will attend and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. the support staff (administrative), private institutions, universities and technology. It is important to highlight that education workers who have received the vaccine against COVID-19 and its reinforcement in the previous days aimed at society in general with other biologicals, should not attend this call.

The State Institute of Education recognizes the transcendental role of teachers, teachers and support staff in society, as well as their work to continue the studies of children and adolescents in the new normality caused by COVID-19, for which reiterates its support to provide them with guidance and attention during the day of application of reinforcements.
