Jokowi Announces 2022 Eid Al-Fitr Joint Leave
Jokowi has announced Eid 2022 joint leave. The following is a list of the specified Eid 2022 joint leave:
- Friday, April 29, 2022
- Rabu, 4 Mei 2022
- Thursday, May 5, 2022
- Friday, May 6, 2022
“The government has set a national holiday for Eid al-Fitr 1443 H on May 2 and 3, 2022 and also set a joint leave for Eid al-Fitr, namely April 29, 4, 5, and May 6, 2022. Decisions regarding this joint leave will be regulated in more detail through a joint decision of the relevant ministers,” said Jokowi in a video uploaded to the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube account, Wednesday (6/4/2022).
When making the announcement, Jokowi gave a message so that this 2022 Eid together leave can be used to stay in touch with parents and family back home. Nevertheless, Jokowi reminded the public to remain disciplined in carrying out health protocols.
“But I need to emphasize that the pandemic is not completely over. We all must always be vigilant, hasten to equip booster vaccines, must continue to carry out health protocols in a disciplined manner and must always wear masks when in public places or in crowds,” said Jokowi.
Jokowi Hopes the Community Will Get a Booster
The 2022 joint leave has been announced. Jokowi also gave a message to the public to immediately carry out booster vaccinations.
It is known in the latest regulations, booster vaccination is one of the conditions for going home for Eid. People who have been vaccinated with the booster no longer need to include antigen or PCR test results when traveling.
We all must always be vigilant. Hurry up to complete with booster vaccines, must continue to carry out health protocols in a disciplined manner and must always wear masks when in public places,” said Jokowi.
