A week and a half ago, ID&T indicated that it would suspend summary proceedings because the events sector sat down with the cabinet. In that conversation, ID&T and the industry, together with the government, agreed that allowing festivals to continue safely with overnight stays is logistically impracticable. But for the events without an overnight stay, the festival organizers see no other option than to pursue summary proceedings to enforce a faster decision because the risks for the entrepreneurs and those involved have become too great. The court has been asked to schedule a hearing as soon as possible.
