Iqbal said his client had been asked for clarification today on this report. Investments have been made since March 2022.
“Earlier we fulfilled the investigator’s call in order to follow up on our client’s report,” said Iqbal.
On the same occasion, SM admitted that they were initially lured by a profit of 10-20 percent in this investment. Then after initially successfully investing, SM was even asked to increase the amount of investment or top up by PT Rifan. However, if it is not added, the investment funds will be forfeited.
“So that first time marketingit promised a profit of 10-20 percent, then finally I invested because yes there was a Bappepti license and others. That means, we feel that it’s the company,” said SM.
“Then after April 28, 2022 I was asked top up which I finally realized. How come top up? Because at the beginning it was never explained about the risk top up, financial matters will be forfeited. So I don’t want to top up until finally money left scorched because of me no always top up,” he added.
Furthermore, he hopes that this case will be handled properly by Bareskrim. He also thanked and appreciated Bareskrim for the quick follow-up.
“I appreciate the rapid steps taken by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police,” he said.
