Gaza: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that two more of its soldiers were killed in clashes with Hamas. Staff Sergeant Ido Eli Srihen (20) from Jerusalem and Staff Sergeant Naria Belet (21) from Shave Shomron were killed in the clashes in southern Gaza.
The IDF released the death information on Sunday. Ido Eli will be buried on Sunday at the military cemetery in Mount Herzl. The occupation forces also said that three people were seriously injured in the encounter. Belet’s family immigrated to Israel from Ethiopia. The body will be cremated at Natanya Military Cemetery.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces said 578 Israeli soldiers had been killed since October 7. Of these, 240 people died after the ground offensive began in Gaza. 317 soldiers wounded in the October 7 Hamas operation are still receiving treatment. Israeli media reported that 29 of them are in serious condition. 2,965 soldiers were injured after the ground war began. The IDF informed that the condition of 453 people is critical. Israel says out of a total of 3,282 soldiers being treated, 482 are in critical condition.
