Research shows that there are symptoms that can occur up to a month before a heart attack.
The most common symptoms are:
Sleep disorders
Shortness of breath
Indigestion
anxiety
Heaviness or weakness in the extremities
Anorexia
Dr Anushka Patchava explained that the usual symptoms include pain, tightness and heaviness, which can indicate that the heart muscle is not getting enough blood.
“Other symptoms of cardiovascular disease can be shortness of breath and heart palpitations, and this can lead to anxiety, sweating, dizziness, feeling faint and fatigue, all indications that the body is not getting enough oxygen,” Patchavava told The Sun. . . .
He added: “It’s also possible that the individual is suffering from swollen limbs, which may turn blue, which could be a possible sign of a heart attack.”
Bachava explained that while chest pain is the most common symptom, other symptoms such as shortness of breath, back or jaw pain can also occur.
