The date of the celebration Father’s day varies by country. But what is the origin? The first references are in United States. In 1909, Sonora Smart had the idea of setting a day to congratulate all parents, just like Mother’s Day was already done. Sonora was the daughter of Henry Jackson Smart, who took care of his six children, after his wife died in the last childbirth.
