ID.7 Electric Model: Pre-Sale in Europe Officially Started by Volkswagen

The pre-sale of the ID.7 electric model of the German automaker Volkswagen has officially started in Europe. Currently, VW allows its customers to buy this model in the Pro equipment version, but with one charge such a car can travel 621 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.

Customers in Germany can order their ID.7 starting from 56,995 euros. Volkswagen states that in this version of the equipment, the car has various useful additional functions – augmented reality heads-up display, “Discover Pro Max” navigation system, Travel Assist, line assistant, 360-degree camera and many more additional functions, so we can say that the car will be quite well equipped.

The ID.7 Pro version is equipped with a 77kWh battery, as well as one electric motor on the rear axle, which develops 282 horsepower (545Nm). In the WLTP cycle, the car consumes 14.1kWh/100km, which then provides 621 kilometers on a single charge. Admittedly, WLTP is an optimistic result, but in the real world, approaching 500 kilometers on a single charge would be quite an expected result.

In any case, customers have the opportunity to further enhance their machines by choosing optional equipment packages. The first deliveries will start already this autumn.
