ID.3 has passed crash tests, the symbol of the Volkswagen electric era has five stars

The electric hatchback ID.3 achieved excellent results in Euro NCAP testing. Specifically, for adult front passengers, the car reached 87 percent, for children even 89 percent, for pedestrian protection 71 percent and 88 percent for safety assistants.

The testers noted that the protection of vehicles on critical parts of the body was very good, as were the knees and thighs. Even the front of the car did not deform excessively and the ID.3 scored well even in side impacts to the bar and the barrier.

The Volkswagen ID.3 is the first in a long line of planned electric models built on the company’s shared MEB platform. In the Czech Republic, its price starts at 1,014,900 crowns. For that price, you get a car in Life equipment with a maximum output of 204 horsepower. There are 6 other equipment available. The Tour version then has an increased battery capacity to 77 kWh compared to the usual 58 kWh.
