A mega auction of more than 1,400 iconic movie objects will take place on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 April. Called “Hollywood: Classic & Contemporary,” the event will include rare artifacts spanning the entire history of cinemafrom the world movie era to the biggest blockbusters of the 21st century, including movie props featured in today’s top-grossing movies.
The auction is organized by Julien’s Auctionsalong with Hollywood’s most revered purveyor of classic movies, TCM. Featured items range from John Travolta’s suit Saturday night fever even the machete sword Indiana Jones, going through a rare headgear from the lost film of Cleopatra from 1917 y the largest collection of magic wands Harry Potter.
The centerpiece of the auction is the custom-made white suit worn by John Travolta in his Oscar-nominated role as Tony Manero in the blockbuster classic film. From the auction house they estimate that the suit, which became an emblem of the film, it will be sold between 100,000 and 200,000 dollars (between 82 and 164 million CLP).

- A Glock 17 pistol used by Christopher Nolan’s Joker in Batman: The Dark Knight ($USD 5,000 – $7,000).
- One of the tailored suits worn by Keanu Reeves in the film John Wick ($USD 4.000-6.000).
- The suit that Will Smith wore in men in black ($USD 10.000-20.000).
- The James Bond suit, played by actor Daniel Craig in the film Spectre.
- Bob Odenkirk’s suit used in Better Call Saul ($USD 8.000-12.000).
