Iconic Mascots: Famous Dogs on Colombian Television

As every July 21, the world celebrates International Dog Day, a celebration that was adopted to honor the ‘friend of man’, responsible for stealing smiles on a daily basis and providing the best and most loyal company.

For this reason, within the framework of this special date, we remember some of the most famous and iconic mascots of Colombian television.

Nuevo rico, nuevo pobre is a telenovela on the Caracol channel that obtained very high audience levels and is usually among the most watched in the Netflix catalog in Colombia.

Part of this production takes place in the La Caridad pension, where Rosmery Peláez (Carolina Acevedo) and her brothers live with Chanda, a jack russell terrier dog that Andrés Galindo (Martín Karpan) did not like, but who ended up being his best friend.
