The Council for Social Dialogue, made up of representatives of Segovia City Council, FES and the unions UGT Y CCOO, met again to address new measures to alleviate the negative effects of the health crisis on the business and economic fabric of the city. The meeting also analyzed the results of the measures already applied such as the relief of the tax burden, the ‘trade bonds’ or the platform ‘market place’ that begins to take shape.
Among the proposals put forward by business associations, political groups and different groups such as the taxi sector, tourist guides, hotels and sports centers, actions aimed at subsidizing the interest on loans stand out. ICO that have had to be requested or for the creation of vouchers for consumption in hotel establishments that do not have a terrace, as well as lines of aid for the maintenance of closed hotel establishments or those that contribute to alleviate the expenses of the investments made to make Front of Covid-19.
At the meeting, the possibilities offered by the presence of Segovia on the Network of Internal Trade Agents of the Junta de Castilla y León (RACI), with a support line for local entities that this year amounts to 1.5 million euros. On the other hand, the town hall has other help lines in place aimed at businessmen and entrepreneurs such as ‘Segovia activates your business’, to which 60,000 euros are allocated, or the new edition of ‘Segovia undertakes’, to which 30,000 euros will be allocated.
