The Worldwide Courtroom of Justice (ICJ) stated on Friday that Israel’s settlement insurance policies and exploitation of pure assets within the Palestinian territories violate worldwide regulation.
The United Nations’ highest courtroom stated Israeli settlements within the occupied Palestinian territories are unlawful beneath worldwide regulation, in an advisory opinion issued Friday.
The ICJ judges’ findings will not be binding however carry weight beneath worldwide regulation.
“Israeli settlements within the West Financial institution and East Jerusalem, and the regime related to them, have been established and are maintained in violation of worldwide regulation,” stated President Nawaf Salam, studying out the findings of a panel of 15 judges.
