The Islamic Corporation for Insurance of Investments and Export Credits (ICIEC) announces the Capacity Building Program for users of the OIC Economic Intelligence Center (OBIC). OBIC will contribute to the development and improvement of the maturity of credit reporting ecosystems in OIC Member States.
The Islamic Corporation for Insurance of Investments and Export Credits (ICIEC) (https://ICIEC.IsDB.org), the Insurance arm of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group, organizes the Capacity Building Program for users of the OIC Economic Intelligence Center (OBIC), aimed at supporting Credit and Insurance decisions. Investment.
The program is titled: The Role of Credit Information Sharing and Business Intelligence in Supporting Trade and Investment Decisions, and it is a unique opportunity for program participants to increase their knowledge and understanding of l’OBICits main areas of activity, and the services it will provide.
Participants will learn how to effectively use the OBIC platform as a developed credit risk management tool that also facilitates access to trade and investment finance, as well as the mitigation of risks related to these activities. Furthermore, OBIC will contribute to the development and improvement of the maturity of credit reporting ecosystems in the OIC Member States.
The program will emphasize the importance of Credit Information and data sharing when it comes to making decisions regarding the assessment of potential investment environments, the flow of intra-community trade and the stimulation of the export sector to other parts of the world. This is in addition to supporting Member States in developing and implementing their business intelligence strategies.
The three-day program will include presentations, workshops and interactive discussions with industry experts, as well as case studies and real-life examples.
