Where to donate in La Palma

The General University Hospital of La Palma, on Buenavista de Arriba street, without a number, in Breña Alta, has a fixed extraction point where donations can be made, with or without an appointment, from Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 20:00 and on Fridays from 10:00 to 15:30. It will be closed on Saturdays and on Sundays donations can be made from 13:00 to 20:00. This donation point makes the following telephone numbers available to donors: 922185321 and 922185 320.

Requirements to give

To donate blood, you must be between eighteen and 65 years old (up to sixty if it is your first donation), weigh more than fifty kilos, be in good general health and not be pregnant. However, since there are multiple variables that can determine the suitability of the donor, the ICHH makes available to the public on its website Efectodonacion.com a self-assessment questionnaire to check whether you can donate blood.
