FRIEDRICHSHAFEN – The 350 square meter ice rink is still available until January 9th on Romanshorner Platz and offers ice skating fun for young and old, even over the holidays and the turn of the year.
Despite the corona pandemic and the associated strict rules such as 2GPlus and mask requirement, the organizers are satisfied with the number of runners so far. “We are pleased that we can make an offer to the children and young people this winter despite the current Corona situation and that this is being used very well,” explains Thomas Goldschmidt, Managing Director of Häfler City Marketing. “Exercise in the fresh air is good for you and due to the mask requirement and the 2GPlus rule, ice skating is a safe leisure activity”, Goldschmidt continues. The previously applicable rule that students up to 18 years of age with a valid student ID are exempt from the 2GPlus rule, as they are regularly tested in schools, is no longer applicable at the start of the holidays, according to the state government. This means that they have to show a test from Thursday, December 23rd, if they have not been vaccinated or have recovered. The exceptions to the test requirement such as B. for “boosted” or fully immunized people whose vaccination was not more than six months ago, correspond to the current state Corona ordinance.
The ice rink is traditionally open until January 9th and offers open during the school holidays as follows:
Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The following special opening times also apply:
January 1, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
All information on opening times and the currently applicable Corona rules can be found on the Internet at www.eisbahn-fn.de .
