The Swedish hockey players won Friday’s A-group match at the World Championships in Riga over Great Britain 4: 1. The Nordics scored their second triumph at the championship and jumped to 4th place with six points in the table. The British fell to the last 8th place after losing with four points.

The British do not have my rest for even 24 hours, on Saturday at 11.15 CET they will start the next match against the Czechs. The Swedes will play their sixth match at the championship on Sunday at 7.15 pm CET against Slovakia.
