Roman Josi hit hard Saturday night in the NHL. The Nashville captain delivered no less than four assists during the Predators’ wide success on the San Jose Sharks ice (8-0!). Josi, who skated 21’44” and finished with a +6 rating, earned the game’s second star for his performance.

The Bernese defender was involved in the 2-0 by Matt Duchene (19th), on the 3-0 by Matt Luff (23rd), on the 6-0 by Michael McCarron (47th) and on the 8-0 by Mikael Graanlund (54th). This season he has 59 points (14 goals, 45 assists) in 53 matches. As for the San Jose Sharks, Timo Meier was not brilliant (16’35” of playing time, differential of -2).

Dean Kukan (21’47”/+2) and the Columbus Blue Jackets lost at home to the Boston Bruins (4-5 after a shoot-out session), Pius Suter (14’39”/ -1) and the Detroit Red Wings lost 6-2 on the ice of the Florida Panthers, finally Philipp Kurashev (10’32”/0) and the Chicago Blackhawks lost by one goal in Philadelphia (3-4) .
