Ice hockey: polar bears are back | TVA

After two defeats in a row, the Eisbären Regensburg managed an 8: 4 victory against the guests from Garmisch.

After the first few minutes of the first third, the puck landed in Anton Radu’s face and caused a lot of blood on the ice. A few seconds before the first third break, Radu’s team mate Tobias Möller took care of the next bloody affair.

After a scramble in front of Patrick Berger’s goal, the puck landed behind the line for the first time – luck for the polar bears, the referee had already interrupted the game before that. In the 13th minute Gajovsky scored 1-0 for the polar bears and brought the home side on course.

In the second third, the polar bears managed to significantly expand their lead. Richard Divi’s cross pass was deflected by a Garmischer and directed into his own goal – 2-0 (26th). In the 29th minute it was Lukas Heger who made it 3-0. In the 32nd minute, Christoph Schmidt made his own way towards the goal and scored his second goal of the season – 4-0 for the polar bears. Patrick Berger confidently parried Garmisch’s chances and kept his goal clean.

After 32 seconds of the last section, Peter Flache netted in the majority to make it 5-0. Within a few minutes, the Garmischer Chyzowski (42nd), Mayr (43rd), Endreß (46th) and Maurer (48th) then turned the tide and shortened to 4: 5. With the 6: 4 from Fabian Herrmann, the polar bears found their way back on track. During a double majority, Peter Flache promoted the puck into the goal (52nd). In the end, it was 8: 4 after Tomas Gulda’s polar bears scored a last goal in the 53rd minute.

With their success, the polar bears are back after two defeats. The next game on Friday is against Memmingen.
