Ice hockey: NHL champion Nico Sturm moves to the club in California

Now it’s clear which club he’s going to: In the new NHL season, he’ll be on the ice for the San Jose Sharks. The club announced this on its website on Thursday. Accordingly, Nico Sturm will receive a three-year contract. Further details about the contract were not disclosed.

San Jose Sharks boss Mike Grier is quoted as saying: “Nico is a big and strong forward. He’s shown consistency and rushing forward – and he’s helped Colorado win the Stanley Cup to win.”
