The out Augsburg native ice hockey professional Nico Sturm scored his sixth goal of the season in the North American in the 3-2 win of the Minnesota Wild at the Boston Bruins NHL achieved. The 26-year-old German scored on Thursday evening (local time) in the first third outnumbered to make it 2-1 for Wild when he deflected a shot from Jonas Brodin.
For Sturm it was the sixth goal of the season (five assists) and the overall 17th goal in his NHL career (13 assists in total). He is currently the most successful German NHL attacker behind top star Leon Daisaitl.
