After a beautiful tribute ceremony, the meeting begins a few minutes late. The players had a hard time getting into this part. The first ten minutes are uninteresting. We have to wait for an action from Fabre to see the new Finnish goalkeeper from Bordeaux Perhonen to make a great mitten save (9’02).

Bordeaux then proves dangerous through its defender Levesque who takes a first throw on Stepanek’s post (11’55). The game continues, Bordeaux remains in the offensive zone and the same Levesque will have a second chance. His shot slipped behind Stepanek, in a Grenoble defense still dormant (0-1 12’07).
Stepanek concedes the first goal on the fourth pitch.
The first third of Grenoble is winded. Bordeaux gets the best chances as on a breakaway from Mulle who presents himself in front of Stepanek who wins the duel.

Grenoble returns with better intentions in this second third. Treille finds Perhonen’s pad which is good in his match and makes a good impression (21’15).
The Grenoble residents will equalize a fine pass from Aurélien Dair in front of the cage for Abel Koudri (1-1 21’53).
This same Koudri receives a two-minute penalty. Bordeaux will take advantage with a goal from Legault who recovers the puck in the enclave, gets back in line and adjusts Stepanek (1-2 22’52).
The Boxers are not far from taking a double advantage but the launch of the Finnish Auvinen finds the post (24’05).
Grenoble will finally equalize by Mathias Bachelet, the son of Benoit (2-2 28’08) on a deflection in front of the cage.
In the heat of the moment, Grenoble will take the advantage thanks to Treille, Philippe’s son, who benefits from the good work of Joel Champagne (3-2 28’26).
Bordeaux did not let themselves be defeated and put the scorers back on par with Alexandre Mulle on the counterattack (3-3 37’12).

The last third will be from Grenoble and Fabre, the best young hope, will give the advantage to Grenoble on a service from Aubin which is slowly gaining momentum before the play offs (4-3 41’02).
Bordeaux could nevertheless have come back once again. Lemaitre touches the crossbar on a long throw (41’45) then Poudrier escapes and misses his duel (43’43).
Bordeaux tries everything for the whole at the end of the match during a numerical superiority. Olivier Dimet’s men miss their chance. They play the cut badly and get countered by Deschamps who scores in numerical inferiority (5-3 56’27).
Bordeaux takes out its goalkeeper but the game is over. Aubin scores a last goal in an empty cage to end the evening in the best possible way (6-3 59’06).

The evening was a success on the Grenoble side. A beautiful ceremony to pay tribute to the career of Christophe Tartari and a great victory in a full ice rink. The Grenoble team took time to get into the game against a good Bordeaux team, well in place with a goalkeeper who made a good impression. But in the end, it is still Grenoble who wins as very often this season. Grenoble takes advantage of its depth of bench to make the differences over the meetings. When a line is less efficient, it is the following line that does the job and so on. There is always a line to make the difference and give victory to Grenoble, the 21st at home and the 10th in a row.
