Kevin Fiala was on fire Saturday night in Las Vegas. He scored three of five goals for his Los Angeles Kings team, who won 5-1 on the ice over the Golden Knights. Fiala went 1-0 at the 18th, 3-0 at the 37th and 5-1 at the 59th. He was logically awarded the game’s first star. Fiala is now on 42 points (13 goals/29 assists) in 43 games this season.
The other Swiss involved have had mixed fortunes. Tim Berni and the Columbus Blue Jackets beat the Carolina Hurricanes on penalties, but Pius Suter and Detroit lost in Toronto. Finally, Timo Meier and the San Jose Sharks lost to Boston at home.
