Dorfen – Sophie scratches is dead former national ice hockey player, which ran up to 2010 in addition to the ladies of the ESC Planegg for the men of the ESC Dorfen, succumbed to Monday January 13th, a cancer. The ESC Planegg mourns the loss of his ex-player on his website.

With her we lost a great athlete, great teammate and very good friend, ”the club writes. “Our heartfelt condolences and deep sympathy go to their relatives and friends. We are very sad, but also very grateful for the many sporting and personal moments that we were able to experience with her, and we will not forget them and carry them in our hearts. ”

The Dorfen Gymnasium, her former school, also mourns the 2008 high school graduate. “Everyone who knew her mourn a very special person,” writes the educational department.

With the ESC Planegg, scratches enjoyed great success. Among other things, she was German champion seven times and won the Elite Women’s Hockey League in 2010 and the Elite Women’s Hockey League Super Cup in 2012.

The 30-year-old also experienced numerous highlights with the German national team. Twice, in 2011 and 2016, Kratzer rose with the DEB team to the top division at world championships. In 2014 she took part in the Olympic Games for Germany.

Their funeral will take place on January 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Dorfen, where scratches grew up. Instead of wreaths, her family asks for donations in favor of the German Cancer Aid Foundation.

Actor Joseph Hannesschläger also lost the fight against cancer. He was best known as Commissioner Korbinian Hofer from the ZDF series “The Rosenheim Cops”.

The case of “crime scene” actor Christoph Quest is particularly tragic. Two weeks after his wife died of cancer, the 79-year-old’s heart stopped beating.
