ICC Argentina reviews its activities during the first half of the year

ICC Argentinathe local chapter of the Chamber of international tradewhich is led by the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC), made an account of its activities during the first half of 2024. These are part of the annual work plan, which seeks to consolidate the role of ICC Argentina as a benchmark institution for international business and strengthen it institutionally.

To date, the Argentine chapter of ICC has 10 technical committees and 4 global projects; so far this year, it has held more than 60 meetings, including 14 with international counterparts, with the participation of 187 professionals.

In terms of international relations, its president, Marcelo Elizondowas part of the Regional Forum of the Americas of the World Federation of Chambers (WCF) in Colombia, the ICC World Council (where ICC Argentina was awarded by ICC Global for its work), and the 17th Eurochambres Congress in Belgium. It is worth noting that Elizondo has been a member of the ICC Global Executive Board since this year.

In another order, new renowned firms joined the activities and commissions of ICC Argentina, which reflects the impetus of the networks built by the space chaired by the CAC.

Looking ahead to the second semester, the organization of the Competition Dayan event that seeks to disseminate the topic of economic competition in the country with a view to increasing the dynamism of the economy. The conference will bring together prominent international and local speakers in September.
