Icade’s healthcare real estate invests 163 million euros in Italy and France, Company news

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) – The real estate group Icade announced on Monday that its healthcare real estate company was continuing its growth momentum by making investments worth 163.5 million in Italy and France.

Icade Santé signed an agreement for the acquisition of seven retirement homes located in Northern Italy, for a total amount of 130 million euros, and completed the purchase of four accommodation establishments for dependent elderly people (Ehpad) with Korian in France, for an investment of 33.5 million euros.

“These acquisitions confirm the pursuit of international diversification and the growth of the Foncière Santé d’Icade portfolio in France; they are in line with Icade’s strategy, aimed at building a leading European real estate platform for health, “the group said in a statement.
