Zlatan Ibrahimovic not as strong as it looks. He admitted that he had suffered in the last few months.
Ibrahimovic comeback defending AC Milan after a long absence due to injury after winning the Scudetto. Ibracadabra came on as a substitute when his team met Atalanta in the Serie A continuation at the San Siro, Monday (27/2/2023) early morning WIB.
It was Ibrahimovic’s first appearance in the 2022/2023 season. Milan managed to close the game with a 2-0 win over Atalanta.
Ibra always displays a strong and fierce figure. In fact, the man from Sweden is still an ordinary human who can experience a phase of suffering.
“I suffered a lot. The last six months of last season I wanted to help the team in every way, even when I couldn’t really play,” Ibrahimovic told Milan legend Massimo Ambrosini, who is a pundit from DAZN.
“I could have had surgery six months earlier, but I knew it was the season we could win the Scudetto,” continued the former Juventus, Inter Milan, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain player.
“I promised the coach that I would postpone the operation because I want to be there for the team and help them. I have never suffered as much as I did last season for a trophy.”
Ibrahimovic’s suffering was also compounded by the death of Mino Raiola as his agent. The suffering that was pouring in made him mentally tested.
“It was also the year of the tragedy of losing Mino, so mentally there was a lot of suffering too, not just physically. Thankfully, I had people around who helped give me the strength to keep going. However, when I’m in good shape, I’m stronger than anyone Anyway. And I mean it, Ambro,” Ibrahimovic confirmed.
