Ibrahima Konate Sparks Controversy with Bold Fashion Choice at French National Team Training

One of the stars of France started a controversy among the media when he joined the delegation of his country’s national team, participating in the current international break, because of his different uniform.

The French national team is preparing to face Israel, then Belgium, on October 10 and 14, as part of the third and fourth round matches of the European Nations League.

According to the report published by the Mirror newspaper, Ibrahima Konate arrived at the headquarters of the French national team, with a mask covering his head with a bright green cover. Then the player flirted with the photographers and said to them: “No I don’t know who I am? Try to guess.”

The 25-year-old defender removed his mask to surprise the media, in a move that did not go down well with the French crowd, who attacked Konate and accused him of having to focus on football, instead of paying attention to fashion.

Some speculated that the masked player was Barcelona defender Jules Kounde, especially since he is known for his strange clothing styles, and is often attacked by fans for the same reason that Konate went to criticize.
