The Société Nouvelle Huilerie et Savonnerie (SN-Citec) organized an accountability day on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. And SN-Citec has a treatment plant for all waste water from its factory that is treated and returned to the ONEA treatment plant in Dogona in Bobo-Dioulasso. This waste water treatment plant costs on average more than 200 million to SN Citec in terms of annual costs.

Product quality and management

In terms of investments, SN-Citec has acquired new boilers to increase the production capacity of household soap, new bottling lines. So far, all of the company’s products have been sold. These are 20 liter drums, boxes of household soap, tons of co-products (livestock feed and cotton seed feed, soybean feed).
According to Yacouba Warma, Commercial Director of SN-Citec, in terms of refined cotton oil, 208,580 20-liter cans, 113,154 4 × 5-liter packs, 6,868 tons of livestock feed and 12,068 tons of cotton seed cakes were sold. In addition, 29,461 cans of 20 liters of refined soybean oil, 25,567 packages of 4 × 5 liters and 5,957 tons of soybean meal were sold during the past campaign.
