MADRID, 4 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Iberia restarts its flights to San Francisco this Thursday with an occupancy of 86% and thus completes its network of nine destinations in the United States, the market to which it flies the most cities.
From today until October 27, when the summer season ends, the airline will operate three weekly frequencies, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
This means that during the summer season it will offer a total of 154 flights between Madrid and San Francisco, 45% more than in the same period of 2022. This figure is also slightly above that of the pre-pandemic summer.
These flights are operated with A330, aircraft with a capacity for 288 passengers and equipped with Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins, which allows offering an optimal customer travel experience.
In total, Iberia flies to Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Washington, San Francisco and Puerto Rico.
As part of its summer season, the airline LEVEL –which is also part of the IAG group– resumed the Barcelona-San Francisco route on March 26, with four weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
In total, Iberia flies to eight destinations in the United States, nine if we count Puerto Rico. The airline has increased its offer to the country by 15%.
