Iberia began operations at the new Terminal 8 of John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on December 1, together with its oneworld partners: American Airlines, British Airways and Finnair.
The recently refurbished T8 will provide more efficient connections, a smoother customer experience and new premium amenities and services.
thanks to one investment of 400 million dollarsTerminal 8 is twice the size of New York’s Madison Square Garden, and will house everything around it 10 million passengers a year.
The T8 will deliver five new boarding gates and four new parking bays for large capacity aircraft; an expanded baggage handling system, 130,000 m2 of space in the terminal and a better shopping experience for your customers.
Much Iberia as a level will be found in zones 6 and 7 of the billing area from Terminal 8. Iberia will have four counters to serve customers traveling in Economy class and two more for differentiated attention to Business and Top Tier customers.
Moreover, Iberia Plus Infinita, Singular, Platinum and Gold customers, together with customers traveling in Business class, will be able to access the two new VIP lounges in the renovated terminal.
