iAuto inspects electric moped from Citroen (+ VIDEO)

If the electric vehicle is registered correctly, it can be driven in Latvia from the age of 14.

The Citroen Ami is only 2.41 m long (30 cm shorter than the German Smart) and 1.39 m wide (without mirrors). The car has a two-seater interior and is equipped with two doors, but – the driver’s door opens in the opposite direction, and the front passenger – as usual. Ami has a built-in 5.5 kilowatt-hour battery, which provides a reserve of about 70 km. It’s not much, but the advantage of a small battery is not only its light weight, but also the ability to charge it on a regular home mains in just three hours. Another advantage of Citroen Ami is that anyone over the age of 16 (eg France, Germany) is allowed to drive.

The manufacturer states that the maximum speed for the Ami is 45 km / h, but in France it will cost € 6,900 or € 6,000, depending on state aid. There is a possibility that the buyer pays 2,600 euros and then transfers 20 euros every month for 48 months.

Citroen Ami is a twin brother – Opel Rocks-e, which is also offered by Stellantis Group models.
