Employees of the “Fisheries and Control Burgas” sector of the “Fisheries and Control – Black Sea” department carried out planned checks and checks on signals on the shores of Lake Vaya.
After receiving a signal from phone number 112 about persons fishing with nets in the waters of the lake, the control bodies of IARA carried out an immediate inspection of the place indicated in the signal. After an extended lookout, officers located a boat with two individuals in it heading for shore.
The violators noticed the IARA inspectors, obstructed the inspection and managed to escape. During a patrol along the shores of Lake Vaya, the officers from the “Fisheries and Control Burgas” sector discovered a hidden boat. In order not to be noticed, the boat was covered with reeds. The vessel has no distinctive markings and is unregistered. Nets and traces of fishing were found in the boat. All equipment and funds were confiscated for destruction.
