Chicago Blackhawks player Taylor Hall is embracing the opportunity to help rebuild the team alongside phenom Connor Bedard and wants to be part of the Blackhawks’ long-term future. After a lengthy rehabilitation from an ACL injury that kept him off the ice for much of last season, Hall is back on the ice and focused on making a difference.
The 32-year-old, currently in the final year of his contract, sees the 2024-25 season as crucial for both himself and the Blackhawks. Now healthy and strong, Hall is leading the play on his line while helping Bedard handle the pressures of his rookie season. “His work ethic is contagious,” Hall said of the young talent. “We all had a lot of fun being around him.”
Hall’s path back to fitness was difficult, involving months of rehabilitation, but it fueled his determination to help Chicago emerge from the rebuilding phase. “I would love to stay and be part of this,” Hall admitted, expressing a desire to settle in Chicago long-term after changing teams several times over the course of his career.
With the Blackhawks making progress, bringing in experienced players, and with Bedard showing rapid development, Hall envisions himself as a key player in helping the team get back into playoff contention. The question now is whether Chicago feels the same way about his long-term role.
