Mohanlal reacts to the film for the first time with Lijo Jose Pellissery. In an interview with Radio Suno, Mohanlal said he will make Lijo after Jeethu Joseph’s Ram.

We are starting the sequel to the hit movie Lucifer. His name is Empuran. After this, it’s up to you. The script is blocked. The film is to be shot in many foreign countries, Mohanlal added.
Filming of Ram was subsequently resumed, postponed due to the covid situation. Trade analyst Sridhar Pillai tweeted that Jeethu Joseph said RAM is nearly 50% complete. The RAM will be completed by January next year. Sridhar Pillai also tweeted that Ram’s first and second parts will be completed together.
Meanwhile, shooting on Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj, will begin in mid-2023. Production of the film will begin next year and hit theaters by mid-2024. The film was officially announced last August. Mohanlal said the producers envision Empuran as a pan-world film.
