I am 26 years old, I am a young civil servant who works for salary and bonuses and tries to live an interesting life. I work a lot, spend it chaotically.
Financial literacy is zero, I expect a salary or an advance every 2 weeks. I spend everything on coffee/gifts/sports/vitamins/delivery of food and clothes.
I just started keeping a spending diary for the first time in my life!
I also have micro-additional income in the form of selling baked goods (just like an American schoolboy, I bake baked goods for sale).
Financial situation
- Salary – 78,000 rubles. per month
- Apartment rental – 11,000 rubles. per month
- Loan for a laptop – 7,550 rubles. per month
- Gym membership – RUB 2,990. per month
- Deposit with investments – 20,000 rubles.
- Deferred money – $300,
- Net profit for baking – 70,000 rubles. (I don’t know yet whether to spend them on something, or just bake and sell them further).
Recently I received a bonus of 150 thousand and I immediately bought a new iPhone because I read that it is more profitable to replace the phone with a new one every year and sell the old one. I’m waiting for NG to sell 14 Pro for 100 thousand – financial literacy))
I don’t know how to save; if money comes in, I spend it right away.
I had never been interested in financial literacy before, until I accidentally came across this site and started taking a lesson on financial literacy, immediately went to fill out the table and found out that I spent 5,000 today.
I always think that money comes and goes, but impressions remain, so I like to give gifts to loved ones and myself. I don’t know how to put it off at all, sometimes it happens that I just want to buy something, my hands itch, and then suddenly the desire disappears. If you receive a salary, you should definitely go and eat something delicious.
I also think, somehow people live on 50,000, provide for a whole family, but I can’t provide for myself, take out a mortgage, or anything else…
