Former MotoGP racer Jorge Lorenzo recognizes benefiting from conflict Valentino Rossi with Marc Marquez on MotoGP 2015 ago.
Rossi’s commotion with Marquez in the 2015 season re-emerged after The Doctor’s interview after the 2021 Emilia Romagna MotoGP at Misano, last weekend.
When talking with Mediaset, Rossi has not forgiven Marquez’s behavior which made him lose the 2015 MotoGP title. The MotoGP title that season actually fell into the hands of his teammate, Jorge Lorenzo.
Quoted from Motosan, Lorenzo did not deny having the advantage of bickering two MotoGP stars at the time.
“In that year [2015] Marc and Vale had contacts in Argentina, their relationship changed since then.”
“The Rio Hondo incident was the trigger, and I benefited from [keributan] that, I won MotoGP that season,” Lorenzo added.

However, Lorenzo also denied that his relationship with Rossi was strained after the 2015 MotoGP title.
The reason, in that season Lorenzo and Rossi were both competitive and had the same chance of winning.
Rossi’s commotion with Marquez, led to a number of accusations that Lorenzo won because he was assisted by The Baby Alien, because both drivers were from Spain.
“Being friends is difficult in certain situations: Rossi and I are very competitive, it’s difficult to go out together and be friends,” said Lorenzo.
“But there is a lot of respect, we are more friends, we are more and more separated. In fact, when we change teams, our relationship improves,” Lorenzo continued.
