Last summer, the news came that Shakira (46) and soccer star Gerard Piqué (36) had called it quits after twelve years as lovers.
Together they have sons Milan (10) and Sasha (8).

After it became known that Piqué began a relationship with the 23-year-old woman, Clara Chía, the Colombian pop star made a new single in which she clearly disses the ex.
The song, which was released in January, pokes fun at the footballer’s romance with his new young flame.
In the diss song – a collaboration with the Argentinian producer and DJ Bizarrap – Shakira sings – translated into Norwegian:
“I’m worth two 22-year-olds,” adding:
“You traded a Ferrari for a (Renault) Twingo/You traded a Rolex for a Casio”.

The artist also literally sings out to this biting line:
“I was ‘out of your league’, and that’s why you’re now with someone like you.”

Now, ten months after it ended, Piqué tells why he has remained silent about the breakup.
– Everyone has a responsibility to try to do what is best for their children. It’s about protecting them. That is the task of all parents. That is what I am focused on and that is my job as a father, he says in an interview with Spanish El Pais, according to AND! Newsand follows up:

Furthermore, the 36-year-old also admits that he is in a good place in life.
