“I will not support Asen Vassilev for government,” wrote on Facebook the independent MP from Plovdiv Elena Guncheva in response to a post that reads: “It’s a shame if you support those you have always denied until now.”
Earlier today, Guncheva announced to BNR that they were looking for her to support the cabinet that Asen Vassilev will propose, but she did not give a definite answer as to whether she would provide it.
“Until July 13, I am on sick leave and will not go to parliament. I have said what my priorities are for each government. If a cabinet is proposed, in accordance with these priorities, I will consider how to vote. But I will only be guided by my conscience , and not by the party order,” Guncheva commented to “24 Chasa”.
10 days ago, she left the “Vazrazhdane” group and initially announced that she would also leave the parliament. After that, he withdrew his request to vacate the parliamentary seat and became an independent member of the National Assembly.
