Farhan confirmed that he will combine two positions, i.e. deputy head and governor. “At the moment, it is to the benefit of the Pilsen region. And I can prove it to you,” he said.

He countered the complaint from some representatives that the positions mentioned could not be prosecuted in a timely manner: “If the governor was the type of lempl you are talking about, who cannot be working and prosecuting, the citizens would not elect him. .”

He plans to finish his term in the House of Representatives, but may not run for office in the next election, he told Novinkám.

In his opening speech, Farhan said that he is a hard working man who keeps his word. “I would like to promise you that I will be a hero for all and I will not be a pope who is hidden somewhere in the country. I want to assure all of our people, regardless of how they voted, that I will listen to them. I am ready to help them solve things. And I will try to lead the region for the better,” said Farhan.

He let it be known that he has been negotiating as a member of parliament for the past fortnight to book the children’s department in the Rokycan hospital. Among his other priorities are functional and accessible transport, education and the social sector. “I would like all residents to be able to say in four years that things are better again,” concluded the new governor.

The ANO movement won the elections in the region, winning 24 seats. He joined the former partner STAN and now with the group Pro nas kraj. In total, the coalition has 36 out of 55 mandates in the council. In the previous coalition there were representatives from ANO, Pirates and STAN.

Seven representatives will sit in the council with eleven members, and four of them will hold the position of distributor, ie full time. Petr Vanka (ANO), who is in charge of regional development, remained as the first deputy. Education and sports are still in charge of Vladimír Kroc (ANO).

The mayor of Stříbra, Martin Záhoř (ANO), also stays as deputy, managing the area of ​​investments and property. The mayor of the fourth district of Pilsen, Tomáš Soukup (ANO), was given the area of ​​health care. Jan Bozděch (ANO), who is in charge of Klenčí pod Čerchov, will be responsible for the social sector. Deputy Head of Transport Pavel Čížek (STAN) will remain in his post. Martin Rybár (KDU-ČSL) became the new deputy, who will be in charge of IT and European affairs.

Pavel Strolený (ANO) will again be the advisor for the economy, and Libor Picka (STAN) will again be in charge of culture, tourism and heritage preservation. Petr Fišer (ANO), chairman of the Plzeňská teplárenská board, will be in charge of the environment.
