The interior ministry’s security services revealed the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a woman’s body on a street in Beheira and the arrest of the perpetrator of the accident.
Damanhour Police Station in Buhaira Security Directorate had received a report that a woman’s body had been found on a road in the central circle.
Examination revealed that the victim was a “retired” employee residing at the Damanhur Police Department, with bruises and abrasions scattered across her body.
Her daughter reported that her mother left the house with a chauffeur in a car to distribute alms to charities, as her mother is a member of charities and distributes alms to these companies. She added that her mother had a telephone mobile phone, her purse, cash and some gold jewelry.
By conducting investigations and gathering information, the public security sector, with the participation of the Buhaira Security Directorate, was able to conclude that a driver residing in Damanhour Police Station was behind the commission of the accident.
After the legalization of the procedures, the accused was arrested and, confronted, confessed to having committed the accident and admitted that he had taken the victim to hand over to charitable companies, while driving the car with him, “my angel” to deliver it to one of the charitable associations that attend it to distribute the money for alms.
The defendant deluded the victim into stopping the car to get spare parts for her car, then ignored her and attacked her with an iron stick, which led to her death.
He briefed the defendant on the stolen items, the car and the rods used in the commission of the accident.
