Lebanese actress, Nawal Kamel, was a guest of the editor-in-chief of the “Art” website, Hala Al-Murr, in the first episode of the new season of the “Stars of Art” program, and Kamel spoke frankly on many topics, in particularly her exposure to rape and her active forgiveness.
Kamel revealed how he would receive the new year and said he thanked God that in the midst of the crisis, i.e. since 2019, he had more than one series and presented many roles.
Kamel talked about her beginnings and how she landed her first acting role, even though she didn’t study theater, she also talked about her experience with actress Nadine Nassib Njeim in the series ‘Salon Zahra’, and commented on the message who conveyed in the last episode of the play, about the rights of raped women, emphasizing that the victim should not be silent, and spoke extensively about her experience, when she was raped, and told how she forgave the perpetrator, and she spoke about the love relationships she experienced afterward. And she Kamel talked about the moments of sadness in her life, and she said that she cried a lot, and she revealed that she later made a decision and a covenant with God not to cry except for certain reasons.
And he talked about the success of his role in the series “For Death” with a “famous” character, and how he changed the viewer and shocked him with his appearance and role, and confirmed that he will not be in the third part of the series.
