Yazmin, 21, told Chronicle Live she visited A&E after suffering from a swollen eye, a cut lip, several bruises and a cut finger from the attack – which traumatized her.

She explained how she was approached by a man who asked her for her Snapachat, but she refused.

Yazmin, from the West Midlands, said he slapped her in the face, adding: “I burst into tears and went to the bathroom. A friend followed me and I told him what had happened. “

But she said that when her friend confronted the man, he then punched Yazmin “at least three times in the face”, before hitting her friend, causing her to break her phone.

She said her boyfriend ended up with “a really hurt jaw.”

She added that it was her first visit to Newcastle, adding: “I go out a lot, but now I never want to go out again. It was so unwarranted. “

She added: “It was awful. It hurts to eat, it literally kills. He must have knocked me out because I only remember being hit once, but I have injuries to different parts of my face. “

And Yazmin claims club staff did not remove the man – although a spokesperson for Chinawhite maintains the staff made the right decision.

Yazmin added, “I didn’t think this would happen to me. The way he did it, he was so confident. It was as if he knew he wouldn’t be kicked out. “

She added that she had not left the house since and was “really scared”.

Yazmin said no one had stepped in to help her either, which really disappointed her.

A club spokesperson said: “On New Years Eve, one of our guests was unfortunately involved in an altercation with another customer at our Newcastle branch.

“Any event like this is terrible and shocking and, as you would expect, we have policies and procedures in place to help and protect our customers, especially those who are injured.

“After a thorough investigation, we can confirm that all of our operational policies were followed and that our staff did all they could to assist the customer, including providing first aid, management support and security. and by conducting a full internal investigation.

“She was not left alone and was not unconscious at any time, as can be seen on CCTV.

“Security and management immediately tried to see if the attacker remained on the scene in order to apprehend him but without the aid of visual identification and only a vague description available, this did not prove to be possible. . “

Northumbria Police have confirmed to Chronicle Live that they are investigating the incident.
