Mario Galindo, brother of “Landito” said that three days before he was murdered he turned 26, and revealed what his last words were: “I wait for the day to find him.”

With tears, Mario Garrido remembered the happy moments, the laughter, the experiences and the adventures he lived with his brother who was murdered by a hitman who entered his mother’s business.

“I remember that they told my mother not to have it, because when she was pregnant she had an illness. The doctors told my mother that she should not have it, because she could be born with limitations, that she could be born without an arm and among them the disability counted. However, my mom, it didn’t even cross her mind. She said that no matter how she is born, it is a gift from God,” he said, visibly moved.

Mario remembered that they both defended each other and fought, like all brothers, but they were very happy.

“The best language we had was the love we had for each other. However, when he was in a dangerous situation, I was the first to defend him and he defended me,” she said.

Three days before the event, Landito celebrated his 26th birthday, and according to his brother, he enjoyed every moment with his family and recounted what he said to him that day.

“That day we saw him with such great happiness, but I think he was giving us a sign that he was already prepared to be with God. That day he was so happy, he told me that he loved me, he kissed me, he hugged me, we enjoyed the last days next to him,” he said through tears.

Mario constantly shares photos with his brother on social networks to remember him.

Regarding the follow-up of the Orlandito case, authorities are already in the investigation process to find those responsible. They carried out several raids in Izabal to find those responsible.
