Guest of Télématin Thursday April 7, 2022, Christophe Dechavanne confided in a painful cinematographic experience. According to him, he was humiliated “permanently” by a director.
Christophe Dechavanne is back on the small screen. After a long absence, the host indeed shares the poster for an unpublished episode of “Captain Marleau” with Corinne Maseiro. An experience of which he keeps good memories and which happened a little by chance. But he cannot say the same of all his cinematic adventures. Indeed, as he confided in Télématin (France 2), Christophe Dechavanne is very bitter from a past experience. “For the first film I did twelve years ago I hadn’t worked enough so when I was talking I was thinking about the next sentence… And the second one I was playing better but I was humiliated in permanence” revealed Christophe Dechavanne. According to him, the director of the film “wanted him harm”, what really “complicated” the shooting.
Christophe Dechavanne: “I worked a lot”
If he did not reveal what production it was, we assume that Christophe Dechavanne was talking about his participation in the TV movie family robbery by Pierre Boutron released in 2008. It is indeed the second television film in which he has shot after Hubert and the Dog (2007) by Laurence Katrian. Note that for his role in the series of France 2, Christophe Dechavanne has done everything to be up to it. “I worked a lot because I wanted to arrive almost unassailable. Afterwards, if I play well or badly, that’s another thing.” confessed the sidekick of Patrice Carmouze. One thing is certain: he feels more at ease when he releases texts that come from the heart. “But being myself by saying things that come from there but are not from you, it’s… It’s a job” he concluded.
