Roger Federer attended the LEO Awards Gala Party with his wife Mirka a week ago. The Swiss master was present as an ambassador for the JURA coffee machine brand.
The coffee machine brand thanked Roger Federer after posting a photo with him and Mirka on Instagram, along with a written note. “JURA Global 2022 Sales Conference was a fantastic event!
3 days of meeting with the JURA family, innovations, great speakers, lots of Espresso, ONO and last but not least, Roger Federer during the LEO Awards gala evening! A big shout out to Emanuel Probst and his team at JURA Headquarters for the perfect conference,” said the team behind JURA.
Jura, a coffee company, has been a partner of Roger Federer for over a decade. Emmanuel Probst, CEO of the company, praised the remarkable character of the Swiss player, comparing him only to Jura.
“In 2006 it wasn’t the same Roger and it wasn’t the same Jura,” Probst told CNN, recalling how their cooperation began.
“We are more Swiss, but he has become a global ambassador and we a global brand. Humility, modesty, these are the values we share.” Federer helps Jura gain credibility around the world.
“When you build a project or sell a project, there are two things: orientation, what does the brand represent? And second, can I trust this brand? That’s why Federer has enormous value for our brand.
Roger’s courage has a lot to do with his personality. He is a role model, and he will continue to be,” the CEO said when asked if Roger Federer would also be an ambassador for Jura after ending his tennis career.
Roger Federer: spending more time with his family
Roger Federer recently opened up about how he’s coped with staying home for the past two years recovering from a serious knee injury.
“The last few years have clearly shown me how it can be, how to deal with a sort of slower life…because I actually feel very, very busy. [aujourd’hui]”, said Roger Federer.
“I wake up earlier than ever because my body doesn’t need as much rest as it used to. I actually have more time on my hands when I wake up at 7am.
I want to stay curious and really learn, you know…. just by working hard, but still enjoying the process. The transition will be interesting, my life will be different,” he added.
“Maybe I see things easier than they will be, but I’m very confident about it and it’s not because I don’t want to come back. We’ll see how it goes.”
