“I want to help children”

“Because of Corona we couldn’t organize our own Christmas market, then the idea came up with a Whatsapp campaign,” said twelve-year-old student Lilly Welscher from Kehlbach (Steinbach am Wald, Kronach). A great idea, because this is how family, friends and acquaintances raised a total donation of 1150 euros.

What is special: In the past three years, Lilly and her godmother Marion Büttner organized their own Christmas market on the second Sunday of Advent and collected donations for the children who live in the residential groups of the Kulmbacher Geschwister-Gummi-Stiftung. Even if this was not allowed to take place this time, the extraordinary campaign raised a considerable amount of donations.

“I want to help children with it and make them happy,” said the Kehlbach student proudly. In addition, she made many donations in kind such as children’s books, games and more. red
