Owner of CT Corp, Chairul Tanjung (CT), invited about 60 people for dinner (dinner) together to celebrate his 60th birthday. One of the invited guests asked about CT’s leadership style in running its business.
“Leadership what do you apply?” asked an invited guest named Isma from Depok at the ‘Sign of Gratitude for 60 Years of the Cassava Child’ at Bank Mega Tower, Jl Captain P Tendean, South Jakarta, Thursday (28/7/2022).
CT explained about the saying ‘teacher pees standing, student pees running’ which contains the meaning of the exemplary value of a leader. On the other hand, CT does not mind if employees work with ‘fun‘ as long as the target is achieved.

“I would be angry about work matters, but I would not be angry about individual matters,” said CT.
Regarding leadership style, CT stated that each leader has a different style. CT claimed to have a relaxed style alias relaxed. CT has a philosophy in leading its employees.
“My philosophy is that I want all of my employees to be rich. Why? Because if all of my employees are rich, I am (of course) richer,” CT said to applause from the audience.
“It’s simple. Don’t think people’s livelihood Think own sustenance,” said CT casually with laughter from the audience.
Around 60 people attended the event dinner Together with CT, they were the chosen ones from about 23 thousand people who registered for the ‘Sign of Gratitude for 60 Years of the Cassava Child’.
Before having dinner together Chairul Tanjung The Cassava Children, 61 selected people were invited to tour offices under the auspices of Transmedia, including the CNN Indonesia television office, CNBC Indonesia, detikNetwork, InsertLive, CXO Creative Experience Office, and Allo Bank.
